Portfolio / Trumps.

A design inspired by playing card graphics.

And a huge well done to all the models who took part in this project. It was they who came up with the costumes and accessories that make these images so rich.

The entire series was shot in just a few sessions (2 or 3 at the most) and, of course, in the studio. Each image is a composite of two photos, or sometimes of a single duplicated photo.

In a poll on Facebook, I asked people to tell me which card was suggested by each of the photos. Opinions differed on some of them, but for others, there was clearly a card suggested by the photo, without everyone being able to say exactly why.

Presentation to the public.

The project has been exhibited many times, in the form of large-format prints (60xm x 80cm).

Présentation de travaux au club Photoshop de Lyon

L'école SEPR et le Club Photoshop de Lyon invitent deux photographes à venir présenter leur travail : Thomas Manillier et Alain Pré. La présentation orale sera appuyée de projections de vidéos et/ou de photos et suivie d'un échange avec le public. Pour ceux qui le souhaitent, il sera possible de diner dans un restaurant voisin, ce qui permettra de prolonger la discussion. Je parlerai de trois projets : la série des lévitographies, "Les Atouts" et "Entre-rails" en orientant la discussion sur les motivations qui m'ont conduit à réaliser ces images.

Présentation à « La vie en couleurs ».

Alain Pré et Pierre Richard, deux photographes lyonnais présentent leur réalisations à l'association "La vie en Couleurs". Les images projetées seront commentées par les auteurs et ceux-ci répondront aux questions du public. La projection sera suivie d'un repas afin de terminer la soirée dans une ambiance conviviale.
